I hate mouse acceleration with a vengeance !

Unfortunately there’s no user friendly way to disable it in OS X preferences.

Luckily the internet is full of smart people and by running this line in Terminal you can be free of it

defaults write .GlobalPreferences com.apple.mouse.scaling -1

Finally!
